A peek into class: Family & Consumer Sciences
Students in our Family & Consumer Sciences (FACS) classes have been working on some exciting projects! They designed their own unique pencil holders and emoji pillows, then cut the fabrics, laid out the design and learned to sew the whole thing together using skills that will be useful for a lifetime!

A partnership with Special Olympics Minnesota, this program creates intentional opportunities for students with and without intellectual or developmental disabilities to learn, grow and build friendships together.

As the snowflakes begin to fall, this group of Richfield Middle School students are saying goodbye (for now) to their daily bike route.

Over the last two years, RMS has introduced several new SEL initiatives to promote student regulation, build resilience and provide a supportive school environment.

In the new Woodshop class, students learned essential woodworking skills by designing and building their own pickleball paddles from scratch.

Our students had the privilege of hosting Rashad Cohen, a dynamic speaker who inspired both students and staff with his message about leadership, community and personal growth.

Choir students at Richfield Middle School enjoyed a special treat in April, thanks to a grant provided by Chorus America.
