8th-grade families: Get ready for high school!

Are you ready for high school? You will be after this upcoming series of events and activities!

  • Tuesday, Feb. 4: Counselors from Richfield High School will visit Global Studies classes to talk with all 8th-graders about course registration. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about all the course options available to them when they transition to high school next year!
  • Monday, Feb. 10: All 8th-grade students and families are invited to Registration Night at Richfield High School. You will learn about academic planning, clubs & activities, tour the building and talk with RHS administrators, counselors and teachers. Look for a detailed email TOMORROW!
  • Thursday, Feb. 13: RHS counselors will return to RMS and meet with students during their Science class to review their online registration/course selection form and answer questions. All 8th graders must submit their course selection form BEFORE this meeting.
  • Friday, April 11: Our 8th-grade students will visit Richfield High School to tour the building, meet with current students and learn more about all the exciting opportunities that await them at RHS next year!

We have had such a great time getting to know your students here at RMS. They will be greatly missed, but we are excited for them to learn, grow and excel at Richfield High School over the next four years.

Please feel free to reach out to the RHS counseling team at any time if you have questions about the registration process or support that your child may need during the transition. You can reach them at 612-798-6120.

Go Spartans!
