RMS Wi-Fi/Learning Space Now Available

What: RMS is now offering our media center on the second floor as a learning space for RMS students in need of internet access or a quiet place to work. Bagged lunches will be provided to all students who attend. Transportation will NOT be provided by RMS. Students will need to walk or be dropped off at school by a parent/guardian.

Who: Due to COVID restrictions, we need to limit the space to no more than 20 students each day. So students will need to sign in upon entering the building. Campus supervisor Darryl Findlay-Lampkin and Assistant Principal Steven Flucas will be present to help monitor and support students in the space. Students will be expected to abide by the RMS Behavior Matrix. Please see the link to refresh your memory of the expected domains.

When:

  • Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

*Students will be required upon entry, to stay at RMS until the end of the scheduled day.

Where: RMS Media Center on second floor. Students will be required to wear masks and 6-foot social distancing will be put in place. RMS staff will furnish other necessary PPE support as needed.

Why: We want to continue to provide support for those students/families who have inconsistent internet access or need additional support in accessing their synchronous (live) classes.

How: Students/families need to register using the form below for each day they plan to attend. Please register by 6 p.m. the night before if you plan to attend the next day.
