Woodshop Class at RMS: Crafting Fun and Skills
This year, Richfield Middle School launched an exciting new Woodshop class. So far this year, students have learned essential woodworking skills by designing and building their own pickleball paddles from scratch.
When they finished the pickleball paddles, the class took a field trip to the tennis courts at Donaldson Park to test them out in a game of pickleball. This experience allowed them to see the results of their hard work while developing teamwork and sportsmanship skills – and having fun!

International musician Jess Gillam wowed RMS Band students with a live performance, answered all kinds of questions and left everyone feeling jazzed about making music!
The Newspaper Club, which officially launched at the beginning of this school year, quickly gained traction and began publishing its own monthly print newspaper, The Oliver Ave Journal.
This year, students at RMS have the opportunity to explore the art of photography through a new elective.
