Woodshop Class at RMS: Crafting Fun and Skills

This year, Richfield Middle School launched an exciting new Woodshop class. So far this year, students have learned essential woodworking skills by designing and building their own pickleball paddles from scratch.

When they finished the pickleball paddles, the class took a field trip to the tennis courts at Donaldson Park to test them out in a game of pickleball. This experience allowed them to see the results of their hard work while developing teamwork and sportsmanship skills – and having fun!

This week and all year long, we celebrate inclusion. In Richfield Middle School, everyone belongs and we are grateful for each and every one of our students.
