EdTech Day 2025

September 23 is EdTech Day, which is our chance to celebrate the incredible work of our Educational Technology staff! They work behind the scenes to make sure our technology is running smoothly, our classrooms are equipped with the latest tools and our students and teachers have the support they need to succeed. From troubleshooting a finicky projector to introducing a new app that sparks creativity, our EdTech team is the heartbeat of innovation in our schools. They're not just fixing problems; they're building bridges to new ways of learning and teaching.

Let's take a moment to thank them for their dedication, expertise and commitment to making our educational journey more engaging and effective. Their passion for technology and education is truly a gift.

Beyond the day-to-day fixes, our EdTech team plays a vital role in shaping how students learn and grow in a digital world. They:

  • Equip every student with access to devices and internet, making sure technology is an opportunity, not a barrier.

  • Support teachers with training and tools that bring lessons to life through creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

  • Keep systems running smoothly, from Chromebooks and Wi-Fi to apps like Seesaw, Schoology, and Google Workspace.

  • Guide families with resources and platforms that strengthen the home-to-school connection.

  • Plan for the future, ensuring our technology is equitable, secure, and ready for what comes next.

Thanks to their hard work, Richfield students aren’t just learning with technology - they’re learning to thrive because of it.
