Presenting a Draft of Our 2026-31 Strategic Plan: Richfield Rising

On May 17, the Richfield School Board reviewed the first draft of our 2026-31 Strategic Plan and provided feedback as part of the ongoing development process. We are excited to now share this draft with our broader community and invite your continued input before the plan is finalized.

Over the past several months, this work has been shaped by the voices of our students, staff, families and community members through surveys, focus sessions and conversations across the district. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far. Your feedback has helped guide the priorities, goals and strategies included in this draft.

Richfield Rising builds on the momentum of our previous strategic plans – Reimagine Richfield and Richfield Realized – while looking ahead to the next chapter for Richfield Public Schools. The 2026-31 Strategic Plan is designed to serve as a roadmap for the next five years, guiding our work to strengthen student learning, foster welcoming and supportive school environments, and build strong partnerships with families and the community.

As we move into this next phase, we invite you to review the draft Strategic Plan and share your feedback.

Your feedback will help inform final revisions before the plan is presented to the School Board for approval later this summer.

What’s Next
In this draft of the plan, we will finalize our mission, vision, belief statements and goals. Following board approval of the plan, District leaders and administrators will continue to identify and refine the specific activities and strategies that bring these priorities to life, informed by ongoing input and feedback from our community.
