Richfield Public Schools Earns National Award for Communications Video Work

We have received national recognition for our storytelling and communications work! The district earned an Award of Excellence from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) in the 2026 Publications and Digital Media Awards program for the video "Inclusion at Richfield Middle School."

The Award of Excellence is NSPRA's highest honor in each category and is presented to the top entries submitted by school communication professionals from across the country.

The award-winning video highlights Richfield Middle School's commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where all students feel welcomed, supported and connected. Through the voices of students, the video showcases how inclusion is woven into the school's culture and daily practices.

"This recognition reflects the incredible work happening inside our schools every day," said Laura Hrad, Director of Marketing & Communications. "The story of inclusion at Richfield Middle School belongs to our students, educators and support staff who work hard to ensure every learner feels a sense of belonging."

We are honored to receive this national recognition and remain committed to sharing the stories that showcase the students, staff and programs that make our district exceptional. You can watch the video below!
