Principal's Welcome

Greetings RMS Students and Families!

I am thrilled to join the Richfield Middle School community. Each day that I am here, I learn more and more about the amazing group of students, families and staff that make up the RMS community. I feel very fortunate to have been selected as your principal and I look forward to meeting you all soon! 

As a principal, I believe in the power of communication. At RMS, we will continue to prioritize the voice of our students—listening to and valuing them and their experiences. Family and community partnerships are also a priority and I will continue the important work that the previous administration team began in this area. A little about me... I was born and raised in nearby Golden Valley and I attended the University of Minnesota. In my 18 years in the field of education, I have served as a middle school math teacher, dean of students and most recently, an assistant principal in a high school. I am passionate about education and I love working with middle school students! It is one of my favorite age ranges.
