Principal's Welcome

Dear Richfield Middle School Scholars and Families,

Welcome to the 2025–26 school year at Richfield Middle School! We’re incredibly excited to begin another chapter in our shared journey of growth, learning and community. After such a strong and successful year, we’re looking forward to building on that momentum and continuing to raise the bar for what’s possible at RMS.

Last year, we saw incredible gains that reflect the collective effort of our students, staff and families. We experienced a more than 50% decrease in students being tardy to class, meaning more students were present and engaged in learning. With calmer hallways and a stronger focus on being on time, we also saw a reduction in suspendible incidents, an increase in the number of students passing their classes and more students earning spots on the honor roll.

We also had the highest family participation in our annual survey in years—and we're proud to share that 89% of families said they would recommend Richfield Middle School to someone looking for a school. That speaks volumes about the positive energy and strong community we’ve created together. (You can view more survey highlights on our Survey Results web page.)

Family and community partnerships will always remain a priority for us. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with feedback, celebrations, questions or concerns. My door—and inbox—are always open.
